Become a Boss, Become a Leader!!

So I was reading Economic Times and was thinking to my self that yes India surely is the next big thing. With every major company looking to invest in Indian markets, be it IT sector, BPO's, KPO's, Health Sector, Biotechnology etc. brand India is selling like a hot cake. Now being an Indian and knowing that India is developing at an astonishing rate, if you are not participating then you are missing out on the your piece of cake, which all the participants will get and not only the winner. They say "make hay while the sun shines" and guess what the Sun is shinning real bright these days.

I read that by 2020 India will be that largest service provider throughout the world and China as the major manufacturing hub. The reason is quite obvious why we will be the largest service provider, we love paid jobs. Easy life with monthly paychecks and yes job security. We don't mind spending our whole life working for someone, earning for someone else until unless we keep getting our paycheck on time:) . We generally are not potential rick takers, most of us will not consider starting up one's own business as a very good idea. We will rather be more contended with a high paid job. Its not our mistake we are taught to think like this in our schools , colleges etc. Take the example of the management institutes in our country. They boost about the salary offers made to their students by companies and advertise that they have 100% placements. Which means most of us decide to join a particular college on the basis of their placement records. Even here we are to blame :) . We just not want to take risk or get out of our comfort zone and learn the lessons that life holds for us. We look for is a 9-5 highly paid job that's the main motto for us.

Its the time for things to change, in a country like India where we have a huge market and industry which is the center of attraction for most of the global giants. Instead of cribbing about your job and your Boss, its time you become your own boss. We all have that great Business Man/Woman in us its time for us to realise that. I do not want to see 1 billion workers working 24*7 for so called international companies, what I want to see is 1 billion leaders ready to rule the world. I know we are good when it comes to serving people and we have proven it time and again. Its time to become World Beaters.

Who am I?

Its been 24 yrs and I am asking the question who am I? I thought to myself that its the high time and I should ask this question. My friends think I am very humourous, irresponsible, friendly, cheerful, a miser :) and at times selfish. So thinking about the my friends who think that way about me, I came down to the following conclusions.

I beleive the reason why they think I am good and friendly is because I donot interfere in there personal lifes and I listen to whatever they have to tell me. I beleive I understand them well. I am always nice with them. I am nice with every one, but is that hipocracy? I will have to answer that question as well. I have been very diplomatic through out my life. Taking calculated risks, but whatever I do I make sure that in the process I donot hurt anyone's feelings.

Inside I know that I can do wonders, I have emmense self confidence and the word impossible is not in my dictionary. Many times in my life I have started something with the spirit of an invicible king, but most of the times I have backed out or I have quited from the challenge. I can analyse my efforts and I assume the results before hand. When I assume that I may loose I just quit, as I hate loosing. Now that might be the sign of hidden arrogance in me. I know that if I am prepared, I will have no doubts about my victory and I will succeed, but if I have doubts in my preperation I will not participate. I will quit.

I think a lot and I mean a lot. That creates a web of thoughts in my mind that get intermingled and creats confusion, I beleive everything is possible in this world and when you have only one life to live it all then why not get best out of it. Thats the main problem what exactly is the meaning of best?
- Get a good Public Sector Job?
-Start your own Business?
-Good Private Sector Job?(Highly Paid)
-Politics?
-Social Service?

I know the answer to the questions will require what my priorities in life are and my priorities are-
My Family
Pride(Fame)
Money

So to follow my dreams I have to choose a path. I also want to add here my biggest weekness I am a little lazy no very lazy. For instance I know that these are the steps for success, all I need to do is follow those steps and success will follow me. Hmmmm and here comes the hardest part taking the first step towards my goal. I am lazy enough to delay taking that first step.More next time. Cheers!!! Keep Smiling:)
